LIRA (Lincoln's Inn Residents Association) exists as an informal association made up of residents of the Inn.
We hope that as many residents as possible will enjoy being part of LIRA. There is no joining fee and currently no annual subscription. There is an AGM, usually held in the last quarter of the year, and ad hoc social or informative meetings or events are held at other times. In addition, LIRA liaises with the residents of the other Inns of Court and , in the past, we have hosted combined events on our own home turf as well as partaking of the hospitality of the other Inns and their respective residents.
By sharing news, information, experiences, recommendations and /or simply the hand of friendship amongst our residential community, LIRA hope that we can enrich the lives of residents, as well as building a closer sense of community, between those for whom the Inn provides both a home, and a work environment and those for whom only their working life is spent within the Inn.
